The children in Key Stage One & Two are taught a broad and balanced curriculum according to the guidance in the National Curriculum.

We have recently adopted the published curriculum Cornerstones. Cornerstones is a knowledge and skills based curriculum with a creative edge. Each topic taught lasts for one half term (a full term in Upper Key Stage 2) and always begins with an engaging activity, whether that be a trip, a visitor in school or an exciting demonstration or outside lesson to bring the topic to life and enthuse the children's interests.

We also have a responsibility to teach Personal, Health, Social, Citizenship Education (PHSCE), as well as the British Values - Mutual Respect, Tolerance of Different Beliefs and Faiths, Democracy and the Rule of Law and Individual Liberty.
