Executive powers to deal with financial issues as specified in the Management of the School Budget.
Personnel:
Executive powers to deal with discipline (including dismissal of staff), grievances, collective disputes, pay/grading issues.
To review school policies and make recommendations to the Governing Body
(ii) Standards & Curriculum (Quorum 3)

Terms of reference:
Executive powers to review and monitor the standards within the school.
To review school policies and make recommendations to the Governing Body
(iii) Premises, Health & Safety (Quorum 3)

Terms of reference:
To consider health and safety issues. To review school policies and make recommendations to the Governing Body.”
(iv) Appeals Committee (Quorum 3)
Any three Governors with no prior knowledge (except staff).
Terms of Reference:
Executive powers to hear appeals including appeals in relation to decisions taken by the Personnel Committee on:- discipline (including dismissal of staff), grievances, collective disputes, pay/grading issues.
(v) Complaints Committee (Quorum 3)
Any three Governors (except staff).
Terms of Reference:
Executive powers to deal with parental complaints, including the response to the parent.
(vi) Pupil Discipline Committee (Quorum 3)
Any three Governors with no prior knowledge
Terms of Reference:
Executive powers to review the use of suspension/exclusion within the school, including consideration of the views of the parent of an excluded pupil, and deciding whether or not to confirm suspensions of more than fifteen school days in a term or those where a pupil would miss an opportunity to take a public examination.
