A visit to the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre

Classes 2 and 3 visited the Aviation Centre as part of their topic of 'World War Two'. We had a fantastic time, beginning the day by being evacuated from Stallingborough. We were waved off by all our families. We were chosen to be in groups by our new families and then looked at a Lancaster bomber, went in an Anderson shelter at Blackout time, went in the soldier's chapel, saw planes from the lookout tower and learned about evacuees. Luckily, we could come back to our families at home time :)
